Role
Technical SEO
I transformed JobQualified's e-commerce and organic search presence by resolving critical Google Merchant Center errors and deploying a strong technical SEO architecture. Through advanced schema implementation and a 25-page hub-and-spoke content strategy, I scaled organic clicks by 111.5% in under 30 days and positioned the brand to dominate high-intent compliance searches.
Deliverables
Merchant Center Fix
Cleared 570+ errors and scaled to 1,140+ approved products in Google Shopping.
SEO Architecture
Deployed advanced JSON-LD schema (Organization, Product, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList).
Content Hub
Developed a 25-Page Hub & Spoke content ecosystem targeting high-intent buyers.
Trust Integration
Injected custom Liquid code for Native Google Customer Reviews.
JobQualified is a B2B e-commerce platform providing specialized safety programs and compliance management services for industrial contractors. While they had a fantastic catalog of over 500+ specialized safety templates, their technical SEO and e-commerce infrastructure were holding them back.
JobQualified was missing out on valuable search traffic due to their Shopify structural layout and feed errors. I was brought in to fix their technical foundation and build a content ecosystem that drives real leads.
Goal
JobQualified needed to dominate high-intent search queries (like "ISNetworld safety programs" and "Avetta certification cost") to drive document template sales and generate leads for their high-ticket compliance services. The goal was to fix their broken e-commerce feeds, restructure the site architecture for better SEO, and build a high-converting content ecosystem.
Challenge
Their revenue engine was stalling. Over 570 out of 583 active products were missing proper product categories, resulting in feed errors and missed visibility in Google Shopping. The blog lacked a hierarchical structure, leaking search equity. Despite having an incredibly high audit pass rate, missing trust signals, outdated schema markup, and hardcoded Shopify template errors were preventing proper indexation and hurting sales.
Process
Fix the money
The first priority was fixing the revenue engine. I solved Google's "Missing Signals" errors by formalizing return policies for digital goods and configuring native Shopify automatic discounts to pass Google’s strict manual promotion reviews.
Rebuild the base
To ensure Google understood the depth of Job Qualified's expertise, I rebuilt their technical foundation based on a custom Knowledge Base matrix.
Force the hierarchy
I wrote custom Liquid {% if %} logic for blog templates to force a specific hierarchy, telling Google that the main resource page was the "Master Parent," seamlessly passing SEO equity down to sub-categories.
Results
111.5% search growth, measured by the increase in total Google Search clicks over a 28-day period following the content hub launch.
1,140+ approved products scaled in Google Shopping with zero disapprovals prior to handover.
100% Merchant Center approval, hitting a "Great" (Well above average) Overall Quality Score.
10 (Top 10) positions secured for highly competitive, transactional terms like "Avetta official website" and "Avetta pricing model."
Testimonials
Christian Belayneh
I had the pleasure of working with Michael on SEO and digital growth initiatives and was consistently impressed by his professionalism, strategic thinking, and technical expertise. He has a deep understanding of both the technical and business side of SEO.
Anyone familiar with SEO knows there are countless people offering SEO services. There is a much smaller group who do it well, and an even smaller group who possess the depth of knowledge, strategic thinking, and technical expertise required to truly push ahead of the competition. In my experience, Michael absolutely falls into that category.
Michael is a strong problem solver who consistently brought thoughtful recommendations to the table. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. I would confidently recommend him to any organization looking to strengthen their digital presence or add a true A-player to their team.
